HISTORY

Nancy Brown born in the around the 1920’s and from a young age interested in science. Also at an early age she came to know Christ as Lord and Savior. Going through school she received almost the top marks in her classes. After high school she went to university and received almost the top grades in her classes there. When finished university she was offered an expedition in the arctic which she gladly excepted. Everything went great for about a year the one day tragedy struck. The tragedy came in the form of an avalanche. It just happened that Nancy was doing some thing as the avalanche hit and Nancy was out there all by herself. At the last second before she was covered by the snow she cried out to God for help. The rest of her expectation party survived and they looked for her for over a week and came up empty handed they gave up and soon left for home. Unknown to anyone then God put her in a state of suspended animation as the snow covered her. Now with the snow covering her God begins to change her so that the snow and ice become a part of her.

Trapped under the snow fifty years the wind slowly blew all the snow away. Then one day while on a walk outside a scientist from on a new project in the area. Upon discovers her body lying in the snow the scientist guided by God unknowingly brings her body back to his cabin. Upon arriving back at the cabin he starts a fire and gives her first body. She immediately responds to the first aid and inquires about he rest expectation team seeing if they survived the avalanche Rick then responded by saying there has not been avalanche in the area in over fifty years. Upon learning this information she ask what year it is and Rick responds telling her the present year at this she picks up a close by mirror and she that she has not aged a day. She stay at Rick’s cabin for a while to get over the shock. So about a week later Rick ask her what she plans to do you to reestablish herself in society to this she had no answer. Rick then offers to pull some strings through some friends he has in the government to get her a new identity she agrees and shortly later they take of to Edmonton Alberta Canada.

When they get to Edmonton they go to one of Rick’s friends house who is a federal government official and arrange for her to have a new identity and some other bonuses. In two weeks she receives her new identity of Christie North and a house and a start of special start up allowance of ten thousand dollars. Rick then leaves to go back to his research. In a couple of weeks she gets a job as waitress at Gallo Italian Cuisine.

One day while working a slow evening shift an armed group of thugs enter the restaurant. They then demand the manager hand over the keys they then lock the doors round up the five staff one of which is Christie and lock them in the walk in freezer. They then open the cash till and take all the money and leave locking the door behind them. Everybody other than Christie soon passes out from the cold. Christie in desperation begins playing with the freezer door handle and suddenly to her surprise the door becomes a barrier of ice. Stunned for a few seconds she then to pound on the ice and it shatters. At this she quickly brings the her co-workers out of the freezer and calls the police. Because of this incident she comes to realizes that she the power to create snow and ice virtual out of thin air and shortly after she decides to use these powers to fight crime and then decides to make herself a costume and to take the name Snow Drift based on the meeting of a woman who could do the same things as her.

POWERS AND SKILLS

Snow Drift has no known hand to hand combat training. However she can produce snow and ice out of thin air. Through her God given power of cooling the air she can make the snow or ice into any shape she can think of with very little concentration. Also she has the ability to fly but the only problem is she can’t just take off from the ground she must already be far up in the sky. Christie posses just above average strength thanks to her powers.
